Keep Developing Yourself as You Keep Moving Up
Dutee Chand, our champion sprinter, is not resting on her laurels. She is busy identifying gaps in her technique and addressing them, in time for the 2020 Olympics. In a recent interview to the Times of India, this what she had to say.
“I realised that during my take-off, my body was leaning a bit more than required which hampered my speed considerably. Similarly, during the last 20 m of my finish, I was experiencing stiffness which was kind of pulling me back. It affected both my start and finish. Since every second counts in sprint, it was important to rectify these flaws,”.
