Professional Experience
Chand has over 35 years of professional experience in building and running scaled B2B and B2C businesses in India.
Previously Chand was CEO of ITC's Education & Stationery Products Business, a venture that he co-founded in 2004 as part of ITC's FMCG thrust. Under his stewardship and in a short span of a few years, ‘Classmate’ from ITC has become India's largest and fastest growing student stationery brand in a rapidly globalizing Indian market. As a CEO, Chand had been instrumental in building a robust business model and a high performance team.
Prior to this, Chand was Vice President, Customer Care at ITC's Packaging & Printing Division, South Asia's largest convertor of paper, board and polymer films into printed packaging. He was responsible for marketing, sales, exports and business development.
Chand is keenly involved with the Pan IIT Alumni movement and has been part of PIAI's national executive committee, steering committee for the 2008 Global conference and founding member of the IIT Alumni Centre, Chennai. He is a charter member of TIE and a CEO Coach certified by the Coaching Foundation of India.
Chand is a certified CEO Coach from the Coaching Foundation of India. He has been able to leverage his wide Corporate Experience in B2B and B2C businesses, including startups to connect with client's dilemmas and workplace challenges.
During his coaching journey thus far he has coached CEOs and CEO aspirants at ITC, Nokia, Times of India, Aditya Birla Group, Vortex Engineering and Sundaram Home Finance.
